The provider

Services are provided by Automaite S.R.L., with the identification details above.

The Shield service

Shield is a security subscription for websites. As described on the Shield page at the time of the order, it includes:

• one-time full hardening, done in the first month;
• an application-level firewall;
• two-factor authentication on admin accounts;
• automatic monthly off-site backups;
• automatic updates for WordPress core, plugins and themes;
• continuous monitoring and a monthly security report.

To provide the service we need technical access to the site and its hosting. We agree the start date with you after payment.

Prices and payment

The price is the one shown on the Shield page at the time of the order, for the monthly or annual plan chosen. Payment is by card, through Stripe. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. The price does not change during a period already paid. At renewal, the price in effect at that time applies; if the price goes up, we email you at least 30 days in advance so you can cancel if you do not agree.

Automaite S.R.L. is not registered for VAT, so the prices shown are final, with no VAT added.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the subscription portal, linked from the payment confirmation page, or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; the service continues until then. On the monthly plan, we do not refund the current month. On the annual plan, on request, we refund the amount paid minus the months started, charged at the monthly plan price; the service then stops at the end of the last month started.

The guarantee

If your site is compromised while you are on the plan, we restore it the same day from backup and give you one month free: on the monthly plan, the next month is not billed; on the annual plan, your subscription is extended by one month.

The guarantee applies to an active, paid-up subscription, after the first-month hardening is complete, as long as the technical access you gave us is still in place. It covers restoring from backup, not a full rebuild of the site. It excludes issues caused by the client, such as sharing passwords, installing plugins themselves or refusing updates.

Your obligations

You give us the access we need, tell us about significant changes to the site or hosting, keep passwords confidential and do not install components without telling us.

Limitation of liability

We significantly reduce security risks, but no service can guarantee a site will never be attacked. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a subscription is limited to the amounts paid for it in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit.

If you are a consumer

Our services are for businesses. If you nevertheless buy as a private individual, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason, under Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014. If you ask us to start work within that period, you pay proportionally for the services provided up to the withdrawal.

Using the site

The free check is passive and reads only public information. Use it only on sites you own or manage. The content of this site belongs to us and may not be copied without our consent.

Disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. We try to settle any disagreement amicably; otherwise the courts of Romania have jurisdiction. Consumers may also contact the Romanian consumer protection authority (ANPC), including through its alternative dispute resolution procedure (SAL).
